Description: 
At 632 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 4 miles east of Billsburg to 5 miles northeast of Nowlin to 4 miles west of Belvidere. Movement was northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. Dry lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Cherry Creek, Milesville, Midland, Kirley, Ottumwa, Billsburg, Nowlin, and southern Cheyenne River Reservation. This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 156 and 162.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
