Description: 
At 508 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over southeastern Badlands National Park, or 37 miles north of Pine Ridge, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea to half inch hail. Dry lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Kyle, Potato Creek, Lonesome Valley, Goose Neck Housing, Thunder Valley, Kyle North Route Housing, Rockyford, Sharps Corner, Evergreen, Badlands National Park, and northwestern Pine Ridge Reservation.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
