Description:
At 1148 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles northwest of Sand Lake Wildlife Refuge to
Clark, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Bristol, Hecla, Pierpont, Claremont, Newport Colony, Hillcrest
Colony, Andover, Bradley, Garden City, Crocker, Langford, Amherst,
Holmquist and Sunset Colony.
Instruction:
Prepare immediately for damaging winds. People outside should move
to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from windows.
