Description:
At 636 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Sand Lake
Wildlife Refuge, or 19 miles southeast of Ellendale, moving east at
30 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 620 PM spotters recorded wind
speeds in excess of 70 mph.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
