At 341 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Ladson, moving south at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... North Charleston, Summerville, Goose Creek, Hanahan, Ladson, I-26/I-526 Interchange, Naval Weapons Station Charleston, West Ashley, Downtown Charleston and College Park. This includes the following highways... I-26 between mile markers 193 and 219. I-526 between mile markers 14 and 22.
