Description:
At 300 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Newberry, moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Newberry, Prosperity, Newberry College, Newberry County Airport,
Little Mountain, Newberry County Detention Center, US-176 and SC-
34 Crossroads, and Mid-Carolina High School.
This includes Interstate 26 between mile markers 72 and 84.
