At 536 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Gloverville, or near Clearwater, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Aiken, North Augusta, Clearwater, Aiken Mall, Belvedere, USC Aiken, Aiken Municipal Airport, Citizens Park, Gloverville, Graniteville, Burnettown, Hopeland Gardens, Redcliffe Plantation State Historic Site, Boyd Pond Park, and Vaucluse. This includes the following highways... Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 2 and 31. Interstate 520 in South Carolina between mile markers 16 and 23.
