Description: 
At 621 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Qulin to near Weiner, moving east at 60 mph. THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR JONESBORO AND BROOKLAND HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles. Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely. Locations impacted include... Jonesboro, Paragould, Kennett, Trumann, Malden, Piggott, Corning, Manila, Harrisburg, Bono, Lake City, Leachville, Campbell, Rector, Lepanto, Bay, Senath, Brookland, Monette, and Caraway.
Instruction: 
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for eastern Arkansas...and southeastern Missouri. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the storm shelter or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
