Description: 
* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents. * WHERE...East facing reefs of the Marianas. * WHEN...Through Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The trade-wind surge is expected to weaken near the Marianas Tuesday, however, the trade swell will remain elevated due to stronger winds north of Pohnpei and Kosrae. This will continue the high risk of rip currents through at least Wednesday afternoon and possibly longer as a circulation develops near Pohnpei.
Instruction: 
Rip currents will be life threatening. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
