...RED FLAG WARNINGS ARE IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY EVENING FOR
MOST OF SOUTHEAST WYOMING AND THE WESTERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE...
* AFFECTED AREA...The western Nebraska panhandle, including fire
weather zones, 434, 435, 436, 437.
* WIND...West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to around 40 mph.
* HUMIDITY...10 to 15 percent.
* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Widely scattered showers are possible this
afternoon evening, with the occasional lightning strike. Showers
are not expected to produce much precipitation, so dry lightning
will be a concern this afternoon and evening.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
