...WIDESPREAD CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS TODAY... All-time record March heat, exceptionally low humidity, and periods of breezy winds will drive critical fire weather conditions this afternoon, most pronounced above 6,000 ft and west of I-25 where winds will be strongest. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 238, 239, 240, 241, 242, 243, 244, 245, 248 and 250. * TIMING...From 2 PM this afternoon to 10 PM MDT this evening. * WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts 25 to 35 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 3 percent. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread. Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a spark and start a wildfire.
