At 835 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 20 miles west of Jersey Shore to near Lock Haven to 15 miles northeast of State College to near Bellefonte. Movement was northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Lock Haven, Jersey Shore, Carroll, Pleasant Gap, Lamar, Zion, Mill Hall, Avis, Dunnstown, Flemington, Centre Hall, Castanea, Millheim, Blanchard, Aaronsburg, McElhattan, Rebersburg, Spring Mills, Madisonburg, and Bald Eagle State Park.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
