Description:
At 401 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Cambridge Springs, or 12 miles northeast of Meadville, moving east at
50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Meadville, Corry, Edinboro, Union City, Cambridge Springs, Waterford,
Wattsburg, Riceville, Lincolnville, Canadohta Lake, Saegertown, Mill
Village, Blooming Valley, Townville, Spartansburg, Venango, Elgin,
and Woodcock.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
