At 507 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles west of Hills Creek Reservoir, or 8 miles southwest of Oakridge, moving southwest at 15 mph. HAZARD...Half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central Lane County.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
