Description:
At 817 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 3 miles northwest of Goodwell to 3 miles
southeast of Conlen to 14 miles west of Hartley. Movement was east at
20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Guymon, Dalhart, Stratford, Hartley, Cactus, Goodwell, Hardesty,
Conlen, and Texhoma.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
the Panhandle of Oklahoma...and the Panhandle of Texas.
