Description:
At 729 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles north of Goodwell, or 8 miles west of Guymon, moving east at 25
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Guymon, Hooker, Goodwell, Texhoma, Optima, Hardesty, and Hough.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
the Panhandle of Oklahoma...and the Panhandle of Texas.
