Description:
At 1044 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles north of Duke to near Olustee to 4
miles south of Vernon. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Altus, Vernon, Frederick, Mangum, Granite, Snyder, Tipton, Blair,
Chillicothe, Olustee, Lone Wolf, Mountain Park, Davidson, Manitou,
Martha, Elmer, Headrick, Friendship, Altus Air Force Base, and Tom
Steed Reservoir.
Instruction:
