The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a
* Dust Storm Warning for...
North central Cimarron County in the Panhandle of Oklahoma...
* Until 745 PM CDT.
* At 622 PM CDT, a dust channel was 6 miles south of Campo, or 19
miles north of Boise City, moving south at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with strong wind in
excess of 40 mph.

IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.
A Haboob has formed off the fire near Campo and is moving fast
southwad towards Boise City. This is leading to rapid visibility
reductions along Highway 287/385 in Cimarron County.

Instruction:
Dust storms lead to dangerous driving conditions with visibility
reduced to near zero. If driving, avoid dust storms if possible. If
caught in one, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep your
foot off the brake.
Motorists should not drive into a dust storm. PULL ASIDE STAY ALIVE!
There is no safe place on a highway when a dust storm hits.
Visibility can be lost immediately, making it difficult or impossible
to slow down and avoid stopped vehicles. Delay travel, or safely exit
the highway before the dust storm arrives.
