Description:
At 654 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Pine Grove to near Ravenswood. Movement
was east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Clarksburg, Harrisville, Glenville, Elizabeth, Grantsville,
Bridgeport, Ravenswood, Shinnston, Stonewood, Nutter Fort, Salem,
Pennsboro, Lumberport, West Union, Anmoore, Sandyville, North Bend
State Park, Enterprise, West Milford, and Ellenboro.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 79 between mile markers 116 and 128.
Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 142 and 164.
Route 50 in West Virginia between mile markers 22 and 82.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
southeastern Ohio...and northern, western, central, north central and
northwestern West Virginia.
