Description:
At 444 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Newark to near South Bloomfield. Movement was
southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
New Lexington, Somerset, Shawnee, Perry State Forest, Thornport,
Harbor Hills, Crooksville, Thornville, Junction City, New
Straitsville, Glenford, and Eagleport.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
southeastern Ohio.
