Description:
At 243 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Glouster, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Glouster, McConnelsville, Beverly, Malta, Corning, Stockport,
Jacksonville, Trimble, Bristol, Macksburg, Burr Oak State Park, and
Hackney.
This includes Interstate 77 in Ohio between mile markers 14 and 17.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
southeastern Ohio.
