Description:
At 420 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 7 miles north of
Union City, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to
vegetation.
Locations impacted include...
Versailles, St. Henry, Union City, Fort Recovery, Ansonia, Osgood,
Burkettsville, North Star, Rossburg, New Weston, Yorkshire, Darke
County Airport, Rose Hill, Cosmos, Maria Stein, and Eldora Speedway.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
west central Ohio.
