At 616 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles southwest of
New Concord, or 12 miles southeast of Zanesville, moving east at 40
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Zanesville, New Concord, South Zanesville, Philo, Pleasant Grove,
Cumberland, Norwich, Chandlersville, Bridgeville, High Hill and
Duncan Falls.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
