...RED FLAG WARNING FOR MOST OF WESTERN AND CENTRAL NORTH
DAKOTA...
.Warm and dry conditions are expected across North Dakota today
ahead of an approaching cold front. The combination of strong
westerly winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph, and low
relative humidities of 15 to 25 percent, will produce critical
fire weather conditions along and north of the I-94 corridor.
Near critical fire weather conditions are expected south of the
Red Flag Warning where winds are not forecast to be as strong.
* WINDS...West 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent.
* AFFECTED AREA...Most of western and central North Dakota.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become
difficult to control or suppress.
