Description:
At 639 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 12 miles west of Town Of Santeetlah to near Ducktown,
moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Law enforcement. Polk County dispatch reported several
trees down across the county, including along Highway 68. A
few downed powerlines have also been reported.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Hiawasse Dam, Violet, Culberson, Hot House, and Unaka.
