Description:
At 739 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Tobermory to
Bladenboro. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Lumberton, Elizabethtown, St. Pauls, Bladenboro, Boardman, Smiths,
Howellsville, Bladen Community College, Duart, Tolarsville,
Abbottsburg, Ammon, Butters, Tobermory, Ruskin, Barker Ten Mile,
White Oak, Jerome, Evergreen, and Clarkton.
This includes Interstate 95 in North Carolina between mile markers 31
and 38.
