Description:
At 507 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Shiloh, or 7 miles east of Camden, moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Camden
and northeastern Currituck Counties, including the following
locations... Barco, Coinjock, Riddle, Poplar Branch, Aydlett, Texas,
Waterlily, Bertha, Goose Creek, and Bartlett.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
