Description:
At 328 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Batarora, or 10 miles west of Leland. This thunderstorm was nearly
stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Leland, Batarora, Bishop, Town Creek, Freeman, Honey Island, Phoenix,
Winnabow, and Sandy Creek.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
