At 717 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles southwest of Bailey, or 15 miles northeast of Smithfield, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Goldsboro, Clayton, Fremont, Micro, Selma, Kenly, Lucama, Middlesex, Stantonsburg, and Pikeville. This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 107 and 101. NC Highway 264 between Mile Markers 23 and 25.
