Description: 
Relative humidity is forecast to fall into the 20 to 30 percent range across western North Carolina Wednesday afternoon. Winds are expected to be a little stronger in the afternoon, with some gusts in the 20 to 25 mph range. The low humidity combined with occasional wind gusts and very dry vegetation will result in an elevated threat for the rapid spread of wildfire across the area. A statewide burn ban has been issued by the North Carolina Forest Service. Outdoor burning should not be done.
