Description: 
The combination of dry fuels, gusty west to northwest winds, and low relative humidity will lead to an increased risk of wildfires Monday afternoon. Most dry grasses, dead leaves, and other tree litter could easily ignite and spread fire quickly. A statewide burn ban issued by the North Carolina Forest Service is currently in place. Open burning of any kind is illegal.
