Description:
At 550 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles southwest of Brevard, or near Rosman, moving southeast at 10
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Brevard, Rosman, Caesars Head State Park, Jones Gap State Park,
Dupont State Forest, Gorges State Park, Jocassee Gorges, Balsam
Grove, Connestee, and Sassafras Mountain.
Instruction:
