Description: 
At 716 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicates the threat for heavy rainfall has ended, but continued drainage may still result in flooding in low-lying areas. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible as light rain will continue for another hour or so in the warned area. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Lexington, Linwood, High Rock Lake, High Rock Lake Marina & Campground and Nc Wildlife Access Boat Launch.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
