Description:
* WHAT...Southeast to south winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55
mph expected.
* WHERE...Chautauqua County, including the downslope region of the
Chautauqua Ridge to the Lake Erie shoreline.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Travel may be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles on
the NYS Thruway and Route 5 as wind gusts will be perpendicular to
travel.
Instruction:
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
