At 1019 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Schenevus, or 15 miles east of Oneonta, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Cobleskill, Jefferson, Duanesburg, Middleburgh, Summit, Schoharie, Richmondville, Delanson, Central Bridge, Knox, Carlisle, Sharon, Seward, Charleston, Esperance, Duane, Zeh Corners, Beekman Corners, West Richmondville, and Baird Corners. This includes Interstate 88 between exits 20 and 23.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized poor drainage flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
