At 927 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Sharon Springs, or 8 miles north of Cobleskill, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Amsterdam, Fonda, Glenville, Broadalbin, Hagaman, Sharon Springs, Fort Johnson, Galway, Ames, Tribes Hill, Pattersonville-Rotterdam Junction, Charlton, Perth, Glen, Carlisle, Sharon, Charleston, Fultonville, Parkis Mills, and West Perth. This includes Interstate 90 between exits 27 and 28.
