Description:
At 413 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 17
miles east of Tinnie, or 25 miles west of Roswell, moving east at 10
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible. Hail may accumulate on roadways causing hazardous
travel.
Locations impacted include...
Mainly rural areas of Southeastern Lincoln and Central Chaves
Counties.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
