At 156 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles south of Abiquiu, or 15 miles north of Los Alamos, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Hail may accumulate on roadways causing hazardous travel. Locations impacted include... Medanales and Chili. This includes Highway 285 near Mile Marker 337.
