At 426 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from near Marquez to 15 miles east of Mesita, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Northwestern Albuquerque, Marquez, South Valley and Tohajiilee. This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 123 and 154.

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce visibility below one quarter mile at times.
