Description: 
At 944 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a thunderstorm outflow boundary extending from 22 miles northeast of San Jon to 13 miles east of Conchas, moving south at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong crosswinds could make travel difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Locations impacted include... Tucumcari, Logan, San Jon, Montoya and Bard. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 309 and 373. State Road 104 between Mile Markers 83 and 105.

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce visibility below one quarter mile at times.
