Description:
At 401 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from 9 miles northeast of Gladstone to near
Roy, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mosquero, Roy, Gladstone, Bueyeros, Chicosa Lake State Park, Solano
and Yates.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce
visibility below one quarter mile at times.
