Description:
At 426 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from 12 miles southwest of Trujillo to near
Villanueva, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Dilia, Anton Chico, Villanueva State Park, Villanueva, Tecolotito,
San Agustin, Los Montoyas, Chapelle and Sena.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 25 near Mile Marker 330. State Road 104 near Mile Marker
40...and between Mile Markers 48 and 50.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
