At 647 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an outflow boundary extending from 10 miles northeast of San Jon to near Melrose, moving east at 35 mph with developing strong thunderstorms behind the boundary. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Clovis, Texico, Melrose, San Jon, Grady, Broadview, Wheatland, Ranchvale, Bellview and Saint Vrain. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 344 and 373. Highway 60 between Mile Markers 350 and 397.
