Description:
At 1217 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles east of Cimarron, or 12 miles northwest of Springer, moving
northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Maxwell.
This includes the following highways...
Highway 64 near Mile Marker 331...and between Mile Markers 333 and
334. Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 416 and 433.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
