At 427 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms 7 miles south of Clayton, moving southeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Clayton, Sedan, Seneca and Moses. This includes Highway 64 between Mile Markers 419 and 429.
Instruction: 
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce visibility below one quarter mile at times. Frequent lightning and damaging winds are likely from this storm, but little rain will reach the ground.
