Description:
At 258 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from 12 miles west of Trujillo to 9 miles
southwest of Conchas Lake State Park, moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Variadero, Trujillo, Maes, Conchas Dam, Conchas Lake State Park,
Conchas and Trementina.
This includes State Road 104 between Mile Markers 12 and 83.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
