* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southwestern Dona Ana County in south central New Mexico...
* Until 745 PM MDT.
* At 523 PM MDT, Thunderstorms with torrential rainfall rates have
slowed down over the Las Cruces West Mesa. Rainfall rates of 2 to
3 inches per hour have been observed in areas west of the Rio
Grande and north of the I-10 corridor.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding is likely to occur in arroyos around
the Box Canyon and Picacho Peak hiking trails, as well
as low water crossings and poor drainage areas around
Picacho, Picacho Hills, and the Fairacres Area.
