At 1024 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Mendham to near Martinsville to near
Lawrenceville. Movement was east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Newark, Jersey City, Elizabeth, Passaic, Bayonne, Plainfield,
Bloomfield, Linden, Orange, Summit, Lyndhurst, Millburn, Rutherford,
Secaucus, and Harrison.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

northeastern New Jersey...and southeastern New York.
