The National Weather Service in Elko has issued a Fire Weather Watch, which is in effect from Saturday morning through Saturday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 424, 425, 427, 438, 469, and 470. * WIND...Southerly winds to 30 mph with a 50-60% chance of gusts up to 40 mph * HUMIDITY...Minimum humidity levels less than 15% * HIGHEST THREAT...is located in zone 425 * IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
