Description:
At 357 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles east of Rumford to
near Montrose to near Van Tassell. Movement was southeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Crawford, Harrison, Whitney, Van Tassell, Chadron Municipal Airport,
Whitney Lake, Soldier Creek Campground, Montrose, Fort Robinson State
Park, Agate Fossil Beds National Monument, Toadstool Geological Park
and Campground, and Belmont.
